Nyayavani Foundation Concludes National Moot Court Competition 2025 with Remarkable Participation Nationwide

The Nyayavani National (Virtual) Moot Court Competition 2025 concluded successfully on 23rd November 2025, marking the end of an intellectually stimulating four-day national event. Organised by Nyayavani Foundation, a Section-8 registered non-profit organisation dedicated to legal education and pro bono initiatives, in collaboration with Ram Krishna Law Firm & Research Centre, the competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from across India. A total of 54 teams representing National Law Universities, government colleges, private universities, and leading law institutions competed across four stages of rounds.

The inaugural session featured an opening address by Mr. Deepak Sharma, Founder & Director of Nyayavani Foundation, followed by welcoming remarks from Adv. Akshay, Co-Founder of Ram Krishna Law Firm & Research Centre.

The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Dr. Sanjay Shrikant Jain, distinguished academician and senior faculty member of the National Law School of India University (Bengaluru), who addressed the participants on the significance of advocacy, constitutional values, and ethical legal practice.

The Final Round was adjudicated by an esteemed bench comprising:

  • Adv. Tanya Shree (Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India)
  • Dr. Radhey Shyam Jha (Head, Department of Law, Law College Dehradun)
  • Dr. Jagadish Halashetty (Senior Advocate, High Court of Karnataka)

The judges evaluated the finalists based on research, structure, clarity, responsiveness, and courtroom etiquette.

The Champions of Justice Award was won by the team from Kerala Law Academy Law College, TrivandrumAnanthan V, Arya S, and Nandan GK.

The Runner-Up – Defenders of Rights Award was secured by KLE Law College, Bengaluru, represented by Alima Azmiya, Ullas M, and Anwesha Dubey.

The Best Researcher Award was presented to Ridhima Vermani of Law College Dehradun, supported by Sakshi Gupta and Vaidehi Sharma.

The Best Memorial Award was conferred upon Saveetha School of LawSriram Venkittanarayanan, G. Sriram, and B. K. Cyndia.

The Best Mooter Award was won by Ms. Arya S of Kerala Law Academy Law College for her articulate advocacy and confident courtroom performance.

The competition was supported by Falcon Reality, Grewal Farms, Lawctopus, Entrepreneurs of India, and Namakwali (Gifting Partner), whose contributions significantly enhanced the outreach and execution of the event. A special pre-competition webinar on Moot Court Advocacy & Oral Submissions by Dr. Aishwarya Singh further enriched participants' preparation.

The Valedictory Ceremony was hosted gracefully by Ms. Aradhya Anand (Additional Secretary, Nyayavani Foundation) and Ms. Insha Nawaz (Secretary), whose efforts ensured a smooth and dignified conclusion to the competition.

With distinguished adjudicators, high-quality memorials, spirited participation from students nationwide, and strong support from partner organisations, the Nyayavani National (Virtual) Moot Court Competition 2025 successfully celebrated excellence in legal research, advocacy, and youth leadership.
